Since the cat was lost in a gas station right by the highway, it may have been run over by a car. I found a white electric toy car, a Mercedes AMG Cabriolet 63C, for children to ride in. I found it in the trash. At the time, I was trying to imagine who and in what car had allegedly run over my cat. 

This particular car model became a personal symbol for finding, and the subject of my obsession mutated into this killing method. 

I had to drive this car; I phoned car dealerships to find this exact model and asked sets of particular questions to figure out how strong the impact would feel in the driver's seat. Ultimately, the cat's demise was my fault, so what's the difference? I scheduled test drives I never attended because I'm not legally allowed to drive in this country. 

The salesman on the other side guarantees I "wouldn't feel a thing". I believe him.
